Born and raised in Senegal, Fari holds a bachelor's degree in African Studies and Communications from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Over the past five years, she has built experience across editorial and digital communications. She began her career at the Moleskine Foundation in Milan, where she collaborated with cultural organisations around the world to advance their missions of using creativity as a catalyst for social change.
In 2023, she moved to Paris, where she worked with communications agencies on projects for international corporations and brands. Her expertise spans digital strategy, social media management, copywriting, and visual content creation.
Throughout her international journey, Dakar has remained home. Raised in an artistic family, Fari has long believed in the power of African art to challenge dominant narratives and shape new visions of the future.
Beyond her professional work, she holds a certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. She is currently working on bringing the many stories in her head to life on the page.
