Daisy Mukasa is a Kenyan national, passionate about advocacy for gender justice, climate action and sustainable development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Challenges from the African Leadership University and is driven by a commitment to amplify marginalized voices and support storytelling that inspires action and systemic change.
With experience across UNICEF, UNDP and other non-profit organizations, Daisy has supported global storytelling campaigns, managed digital content, and supported global events focused on development, climate justice, and maternal health. Having studied in Rwanda and worked across Africa and globally, she has gained cross-cultural experience that has shaped her ability to communicate with empathy, nuance, and purpose.
Prior to joining AfaLab as an Events Assistant, Daisy volunteered to WomenCare.Pod, an advocacy program raising awareness about the intersection of climate change and women’s health in Western Kenya.
Daisy is driven by the belief that inclusive storytelling can shift power, build communities, and inspire action. She is committed to amplifying underrepresented voices and building inclusive narratives.
